Summer 2017 Update

We can't believe it's already almost the middle of the summer! SHAG has been taking a bit of a break from shows so far in 2017, but we played some killer shows this year with some killer bands so far! In February, we played our first ever show in Calgary at the Blind Beggar Pub with Andy Crocq and Mr. Slim, and it was a crazy show! The Blind Beggar Pub was hopping and was a great crowd, we can't wait to get back down there again!

We then moved into a new jam space in March and put all our artistic abilities together to paint a sweet ass SHAG monster on the wall! Check it below:

In April we gotta to play for a really cool band all the way from Vancouver called "Sleep Science" and they rocked the Bohemia. It was cool to talk to a band that was putting together their own tour and just went for it and booked everything on their own.

Later in April we supported our best pals Fear The Mammoth in their "Freaks EP" release party at the Forge on Whyte Ave. Fuck, their EP rips and that show was a lot of fun. Go buy their EP right now and put it on repeat! In that show, we also played with our other good pals in A Gentleman's Pact, who also have new music out! We also started working on our very first full length album in this time at Royal Studio! Scott and Arnel are two of the coolest guys in the city of Edmonton and their studio is so bad ass. We are having such a great time out there and we can't wait to share our finished projects with you all!!

We are hoping to have the first single of this new full length album out sometime in the summer, along with our first ever music video. Keep your eyes peeled for that announcement when it happens!
